My name is Akako Shinjo. I've been alive for sixteen years, though it doesn't really feel that way. I'm a sophomore in high school and I feel as if I have a wound that just won't heal. I was apparently a pretty happy baby. I can't remember, but I look happy in those pictures. I do remember a sense of joy associated to when my mother was still my mother. I don't know what really happened to change her, but I do know it was something bad.
